As the weather here in Istanbul is getting cold and gloomy I wanted to add some color to our ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ living room and bought some fresh flowers and greenery last Friday. After that I went to Paşabahçe store to check out if they have some simple, white porcelain plates. Actually I almost gave up on finding it somewhere in Istanbul. Everything is colorful or white but with some patterns or reliefs…. But I’m a simple girl )) and I need some simple white porcelain plates. So if anybody knows where I can find it (I mean here in Istanbul) please share this valuable information with me.
Anyway, as you may guess I couldn’t find them in Paşabahçe store either. Instead I bought a lovely, glossy side table for our living room (we really needed one). Heh, what a coincidence it’s chrome! ( In case you missed the post ‘chrome is getting back in trend’ you can read it here). Most of all I love how chrome parts of this table reflects the light adding shine and texture to our neutral toned living room. Besides being beautiful, it’s also functional. The perfect place to put a cup of cappuccino on while curling up on the sofa with a good book.
And on Saturday I had a nice time making a flower arrangement to decorate our new side table. The mix of eucalyptus, white and pink ranunculus and pampas grass is the great combination for the Fall. And that eucalyptus’ smell… so clean, fresh and relaxing!
Have a nice day!
